The firm was founded by Sandra Dearden and incorporated as MDCO Transportation Management. Ltd, on July 1, 1996. MDCO'S office opened on August 5, 1996, and we signed our first contract in September.
First year revenues exceeded $500,000 and the firm gained national recognition when Ms. Dearden was the recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owner's New Venture Award in 1998.
The name of the firm was changed in 2002 to HIGHROAD Consulting, Ltd., reflecting our ethics and core competency in transportation.
