Highroad Consulting, Ltd. Launches New Rate Program for Rail Shippers.
Chicago, Illinois (August 18, 2009) - Highroad Consulting, Ltd., a transportation and logistics consulting firm, today introduced RailRateAdministrator™, a new product aimed at giving rail shippers an efficient system to manage rail rates.
RailRateAdministrator™ calculates total costs for each lane, and the service eliminates work associated with maintaining a rate file, including monitoring tariffs for rate changes and updating fuel surcharges and mileages. Rates will be updated monthly and fuel surcharges will be updated monthly or bi-monthly (CPRS), in accordance to the railroads' surcharge programs.
